Like in the last years, the content design of the 2025 ILIAS Conference is taken over again by a programme committee. In this way, we are separating the organisation of the conference by the host from the design of the conference programme. This will allow also those people to design a conference whose institution is not in a position to organise a corresponding event.

They are responsible for the content of the conference. The main tasks of the programme committee include

• determining the main topics of the conference,
• selecting the keynote speaker(s)
• and conducting the call-for-papers.

The programme committee also determines the programme scheme of the next ILIAS conference. And it is part of the jury that decides on the submissions from the Call-for-Papers. Further members of the jury are one representative each from the host and the ILIAS society.
