Programmkomitee 2024

Auch die inhaltliche Gestaltung der ILIAS-Konferenz 2024 in Graz wird wieder von einem Programmkomitee übernommen. Damit entkoppeln wir die Organisation der Konferenz durch den Veranstalter von der Gestaltung des Konferenzprogramms. Auf diese Weise ist es auch für Personen möglich, eine Konferenz inhaltlich zu gestalten, deren Institution nicht in der Lage ist, eine entsprechende Veranstaltung zu organisieren.

Das Programmkomitee besteht 2024 aus vier Personen:

• Lars Ewald
• Kenji-T. Nishino
• Karim Sayed
• Eva Unterlechner

Gemeinsam sind diese für den Inhalt der Konferenz verantwortlich. Zu den Hauptaufgaben des Programmkomitees gehören:

• die Festlegung der Hauptthemen der Konferenz,
• die Auswahl der Keynote(s)-Speaker
• und die Durchführung des Call-for-Papers.

Das Programmkomitee legt auch das Programmschema für die nächste ILIAS-Konferenz fest. Und es ist Teil der Jury, die über die Einreichungen des Call-for-Papers entscheidet. Weitere Mitglieder der Jury sind je ein Vertreter des Gastgebers und des Vereins.

Programme Committee 2024

Like in the last two years, the content design of the 2024 ILIAS Conference in Graz (A) is taken over again by a programme committee. In this way, we are separating the organisation of the conference by the host from the design of the conference programme. This will allow also those people to design a conference whose institution is not in a position to organise a corresponding event.

The programme committee 2024 consists of four persons:

• Lars Ewald
• Kenji-T. Nishino
• Karim Sayed
• Eva Unterlechner

They are responsible for the content of the conference. The main tasks of the programme committee include

• determining the main topics of the conference,
• selecting the keynote speaker(s)
• and conducting the call-for-papers.

The programme committee also determines the programme scheme of the next ILIAS conference. And it is part of the jury that decides on the submissions from the Call-for-Papers. Further members of the jury are one representative each from the host and the ILIAS society.
