Thread "ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS after activating SSL"

Hi

I just activated the SSL option.

I can still get to the setup page, but when I try to login at the client I get "ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS".

I deleted all the cookies to see if there is a problem with them, but the error occurs on all the browsers I tried (edge, firefox, chrome, ie).

Any suggestions?
Is there a possibility to deactivate SSL by changing the value directly in the config file?

Before the activation everything worked flawlessly.

thank you for your reply, this sounds like the solution to my problem.

But I encountered difficulties, I don't have a table called settings as seen in the example.

Could you provide me some additional information? The picture also doesn't show all the information it seems.

Regarding the first solution: SSL was already enabled on the server before

I contacted the company which is hosting the site, they told me that everything is working as expected regarding the certificate and sent me this:

According to them Ilias is causing the trouble.

Sorry, it seems I tried it the wrong way.

Using the search function I was able to find the correct table which didn't show up on the left in table selection.

As I encountered the same issue today, just a short drop on how I managed it without entering the database. I entered with the IP not the FDQN. In mz case the error accured because I changed the vhost and therefore not using the host but the IP resolved the issue.
