With ILIAS 6 the main outer structure of a page was redesigned (see: Page Layout Revision). We agreed on a layout for components mostly surraunding the content of the screen such as the Main Page, the Meta Bar, the Main Bar, Slates, Breadcrumbs and so forth. However many feature/issues had to be moved to ILIAS 7. There is a rather large list to be presented in the Abschlussevent of the PLR 6 Project.

The concepts to tackle the various problems and the selection of the problems to tackle will need to be fixed collaboratively. Since this project will provide probably again more work than can be achieved in one release and involves various maintainers, proper project management will be key. Therefore we propose to again to hire a project manager taking care of regular meeting, communication, setting prios and so forth.

Mit ILIAS 6 wurde die äußere Hauptstruktur der ILIAS-Seite neu gestaltet (siehe: Überarbeitung des Seitenlayouts). Wir einigten uns auf ein Layout für Komponenten, die den Inhalt des Bildschirms hauptsächlich umgeben, wie z.B. die Hauptseite, die Meta-Leiste, die Hauptleiste, die Slates, den Brotkrumenpfad und so weiter. Viele Funktionen/Ausgaben mussten jedoch nach ILIAS 7 verschoben werden. Es gibt eine recht umfangreiche Liste, die im Abschlussevent des Verleihrechts 6-Projekts vorgestellt werden soll.

Die Konzepte zur Lösung der verschiedenen Probleme und die Auswahl der zu lösenden Probleme müssen gemeinsam festgelegt werden. Da dieses Projekt wahrscheinlich wieder mehr Arbeit leisten wird, als in einer Version erreicht werden kann, und verschiedene Maintainer involviert sind, wird ein gutes Projektmanagement von entscheidender Bedeutung sein. Deshalb schlagen wir vor, erstmals wieder einen Projektleiter einzustellen, der sich um regelmäßige Treffen, Kommunikation, das Setzen von Prios und so weiter kümmert.
