22nd International ILIAS Conference in Cologne - Call for Papers

Kruse, Fabian [Fabian] - 23. Mar 2023, 12:19

Contributions are now being sought for the 22nd International ILIAS Conference. The conference will take place on 7 and 8 September 2023 at the University of Cologne. The ILIAS community will return to the place where it all began. For it was in Cologne that the first ILIAS version was conceived and developed almost 25 years ago. The city is still very important for the ILIAS cosmos, as it is home to several large installations, the ILIAS Society and several service providers.

This year, the ILIAS conference has the motto "25 Years of ILIAS: (Fast) Forward to a Sustainable Future". The programme committee has now revealed the following main topics:

  • Developing ILIAS intelligently: Moving away from the ‘one size fits all’ principle towards individual and intelligent forms of learning.
  • ILIAS in Green & Green in ILIAS: Creative ideas for climate neutrality and sustainability in education and training.
  • Forward Thinking: Future-oriented thinking and learning to impart knowledge in innovative ways.

In addition, there will again be a wild card for examples that ILIAS users have always wanted to tell us about.

The Call for Papers is now online. We are looking forward to receiving numerous submissions until 21 April 2023. Presentations, workshops and tutorials can be proposed.

More information about the conference and the conference programme can be found on our conference website at https://www.ilias-conference.org.
