1 Reasons to Abandon Feature

The banner feature is a unicorn for blogs and portfolios. There is no KS element for the banner yet and the file handling is not migrated to the IRSS. The underlying file system handling has been deprecated by the file component maintainer and PM, see https://github.com/ILIAS-eLearning/ILIAS/pull/5158

If we want to keep banners, they should be a general repository object feature and not an implementation of two distinct components.

6 Implementation

Options to configure banner in blog administration and use in blog settings have been removed.

The following testcases have been removed from Testrail or modified because the feature is no longer part of the ILIAS core.
