ILIAS Updates
Special care has to be taken when ILIAS is updated. If you did local changes, please perform the ILIAS update in the following order:
Save your changes to the local language file on the "Maintain" tab. If the web server can't write that file, export your local changes as a backup file.
Follow the instructions of the ILIAS distribution to perform the update.
In the Languages folder click "Refresh Languages". If the local language file was saved in Step 1, it is automatically reloaded. If not, import your saved backup file with the option "Replace existing entries".
