Populate user properties from LDAP source

LDAP can act as a authentication provider as well as a data source for user properties. To fill user properties from LDAP source, change to the profile-data subtab and select an appropriate object class (e.G. Active Directory ® 2003) for yor LDAP source. Click show, select the properties you want to fill and save.

Profile Data

You can add further properties in those fileds that stay empty or change some associations. To gather the required information, export a user object to an LDIF file with the tool of your LDAP source (LDIFDE in case of Active Directory ®). In the resulting text file you can find the property- names.

On the server-settings subtab you decide, whether the LDAP source provides authentication or just profile data with the LDAP as data source checkbox.
