The following features have been developed for this ILIAS 3 release:

• The Course Management allows you to combine learning modules to courses and to define requirements for taking a course, i.e. individual control of access to a course by course administrator. For more information please see the
  Specification/Use Cases. Developed by Stefan Meyer.

• The Test and Assessment allows the combination of different question types to self-tests and assessments and offers an authoring tool for creating tests, evaluation and grading routines and the possibilty to give access to other modules depending on the test results. For further information please have a look at the UseCases. Developed by Helmut Schottmüller on behalf of Helmut Schmidt Universität Hamburg.

• The Survey uses methods from the test&assessment for getting feedback from learners after using Learning Modules. Developed by Helmut Schottmüller.

• ILIAS supports LDAP authentication as alternative to the own ILIAS user authentication. for integrating ILIAS in bigger IT architectures. Developed by Sascha Hofmann.
