4.1.4 (stable)

Release 4.1.4 has been published on 13th January 2011.

Please read the ILIAS 4.1 features report for information about major changes and new features of this version.

Information about first time installation can be found here.

Before upgrading an ILIAS installation of version 3.9 or lower to 4.1 you will need to upgrade to 3.10 first. Instructions for updating ILIAS can be found in section 3 of the general installation instructions. For major updates (e.g. 4.0.x -> 4.1.x) the safest proceeding is, to upgrade a copy of your productive system first and test whether everything works ok.

Known Issues

1. Learning Progress Lists Wrong Users

If learning modules are linked into multiple courses, wrong users may appear in the learning progress lists. This patch fixes the issue.

The zip file contains tree files:

Please backup your current version of these files and copy the patch files to the corresponding directories.

2. CAS authentication fails with PHP < 5.3

Due to bug PHP Bug 32330 CAS authentication fails with PHP versions < 5.3.

The zip file contains one file:
