3.2.4 (stable)

The release has been published at December 26, 2004 and includes the following bug fixes and enhancements:

• Merged "Add" and "Import" screen for learning modules. Import is now possible for every user who has got create permission within repository. (Alexander Killing, Mantis Bug #616)

• Enhanced all multiple choice questions with single response (multiple choice single response, imagemap questions and select gaps of close questions): Removed the "when Set" radiobuttons. The points entered with an answer will be given when this answer is checked by the user, otherwise the user gains 0 points. This means it is possible now to give graded points for these questions (e.g. 2 points for choice "A", 1 point for choice "B", 0 points for choice "C"). Also the user interface is now simplified.   If there are any single response questions (multiple choice, imagemap or close select gap) where points have been given for answers which are not set the update to ILIAS 3.2.4 will set these answers to 0 points, because with the new system only points for set answers will be given (the only thing which makes sense using single response).

• Fixed Javascript support for matching questions (should be running now with Internet Explorer as well) (Helmut Schottmüller)

• subheadings can be entered in surveys (Helmut Schottmüller)

• Test&Assessment: Changed points calculation for Imagemap-Questions, Multiple Choice Questions and Close questions. When a question was skipped (no values entered) sometimes points were given (Helmut Schottmüller, added 2004-11-24)

• Removed skip buttons in survey navigation and replaced it with an obligatory hint when a question must be answered (Helmut Schottmüller, added 2004-11-25)

• Fixed output of imagemap regions in Test & Assessment imagemap questions to work with ImageMagick versions 5.x (Helmut Schottmüller, added 2004-03-12)

• Added output of average reached points for every question in statistical evaluation (Helmut Schottmüller, added 2004-12-16)

• Test & Assessment: The enlarge icons which are shown in JavaScript ordering questions and JavaScript matching questions will only be visible when the original image is larger than the thumbnail image, otherwise the enlarge icon is not visible (added 2004-12-20, Helmut Schottmüller)

• Moving up / down questions in survey questionblocks is now allowed (added 2004-12-21, Helmut Schottmüller)

• Test & Assessment: The imagemap preview in the imagemap question edit form is now a clickable map. A click on one of the regions highlights the text input for that region in the edit form (added 2004-12-23, Helmut Schottmüller)

• Fixed Mantis bug #704: spelling mistake in german language module. In the course settings renamed 'Maiximale Mitgliederanzahl' to 'Maximale Mitgliederanzahl' (Helmut Schottmüller)

• Fixed Mantis bug #711: Under certain circumstances a user without write permissions got access to a test object. He/she then only had read permissions, but after the fix even this is impossible and the user is redirected to the parent repository (Helmut Schottmüller)

• Fixed mantis bug #714. If user agreement files don't exist neither in user nor in system language, an error occured. Now the english version is used for fall back. If this file doesn't exist also, the error message states the missing file. The language adminstration lists all existing/missing user agreement files now. (Alexander Killing)

• Fixed mantis bug #686. Clicking on certain buttons in the media object menu on creation inside a media pool has resulted in a crash. (Alexander Killing)
